NASHVILLE (AP) — Two key members of Tennessee's budget planning process are leaving their positions.

Bill Bradley, head of the Finance Department's budget office for the last 14 years, is moving into a new role as senior adviser. Meanwhile Jim White, executive director of the Legislature's Fiscal Review Committee, has resigned to join the Nashville law firm of Jones, Hawkins and Farmer.

Legislative Budget Director David Thurman was named Wednesday to replace Bradley on Oct. 10. Until then, Thurman will serve as interim director of the Fiscal Review Committee.

Thurman has been a budget analyst for the Legislature for 14 years and began his career in 1988 with the budget office in the executive branch.
