There were 735 homes selling for $1 million or more in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner and Wilson counties in 2017, according to Chandler Reports.

13. Cardinals' defense shuts down Titans in 12-7 victory -

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals didn't get much offense against Tennessee. Their defense, though, was just fine.

The Cardinals held the Titans (8-5) to 204 yards, just 65 on the ground, in a 12-7 victory on Sunday that knocked Tennessee out of first place in the AFC South.

17. Realtors group announces 2017 officers, directors -

Scott Troxel of Keller Williams has been elected as the 2017 president of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors. His one-year term of service will begin Jan. 1.

Officers serving with Troxel for 2017 include Sher Powers (Urbane Residential Specialists), president-elect; Andrew Terrell (Pilkerton), secretary/treasurer; Brian Copeland (Village), vice president; Kristy Hairston (Village), vice president; and Denise Creswell (Pilkerton), immediate past president.

19. Brody-Waite named CEO of Entrepreneur Center -

Michael Brody-Waite, former CEO of InQuicker.com, will be The Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s new CEO.

Brody-Waite began his career at Dell Inc., working in sales. In 2009, he became co-founder and CEO of Nashville-based InQuicker, which he shepherded it until it was acquired in 2015.

22. Nashville Technology Council awards finalists announced -

The Nashville Technology Council has announced nominees in 13 categories for its seventh annual awards.

Finalists were selected among nominees by a panel of peers and tech industry leaders. Winners will be announced at the seventh annual NTC Awards ceremony presented by Vaco, held Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Event Hall in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

23. NAIOP Nashville elects first female president -

Lizabeth Theiss is the new president of the Nashville Chapter of NAIOP, Commercial Real Estate Development Association, making history as the chapter’s first female president.

Theiss, who is vice president of business development and a member of the executive team at Crain Construction Inc., takes office in January and will serve a one-year term for the 450-member association. A NAIOP (National Association for Industrial and Office Parks) member since 2002, she previously served as president-elect, secretary and bus tour chair.
