NASHVILLE (AP) — Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard is the second artist so far that will miss a scheduled performance at the CMA Awards on Wednesday due to COVID-19.

Hubbard posted a note on his Instagram page on Monday saying he was asymptomatic and quarantining on his bus outside his home. It comes days after another artist, Lee Brice, also revealed he had tested positive and would also not perform on the show, which airs on ABC from Nashville, Tennessee.

NASHVILLE (AP) — Country music singer, songwriter and actor Dwight Yoakam was honored by performing rights organization BMI for his trailblazing and highly unique style of California country rock.

The organization gave the Grammy-winner the President's Award on Tuesday, as well as honored many of country's top songwriters and artists, during a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.

9. Subban hosting TV special after All-Star Skills competition -

Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban has found a way to go beyond his more than 1.1 million followers on Twitter and 844,000 more on Instagram.

He's hitting national television.

The 2013 Norris Trophy winner will host "P.K. Subban's All-Star Special" Friday night on NBC Sports Network airing immediately after the NHL All-Star Skills competition, and Subban is ready to have some fun.

19. Country singer Tyler Farr cancels shows after vocal surgery -

NASHVILLE (AP) - Country singer Tyler Farr is canceling upcoming shows to rest his voice after having surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal chords.

A statement released Wednesday from his label, Columbia Nashville, said the "Redneck Crazy" singer was diagnosed after getting a severe case of bronchitis at the end of last year. Following his surgery, his doctors at the Vanderbilt Voice Clinic recommended vocal rest followed by aggressive therapy.
