Sertoma Friendship Dinner

The annual event will honor the 2022 Lifetime of Love recipients Mike and Marquita Stevens. The event will be emceed by Beth Haynes, WBIR news anchor and Sertoma board member, and the featured speaker will be Tony Vitello, baseball coach for the University of Tennessee. The conversation will be moderated by Jimmy Hyams, WNML sports journalist and radio broadcaster. In 2014, Mike Stevens Homes led the “Labor of Love” campaign to build new homes at a tremendous cost savings to Sertoma. Akima Cabaret 2022

Akima Club’s major biannual, two-evening fundraiser will be held at The Mill & Mine with the theme of “The Roaring 20s – When Decades Collide” with a fast-paced show set in two different speakeasies, one in 1922 and the other in 2022. The 2022 fundraiser for the Akima Grants program will be the 40th Cabaret during the 75th anniversary year of the Akima Club. The Feb. 18 show will be at 7 p.m. with two shows Feb. 19 at 2 and 7 p.m. Dinner and dancing will follow each evening performance. Compassion Coalition’s Community Impact Luncheon

The Coalition will hold its annual Community Impact Luncheon fundraiser with a ‘Twosday’ gathering to highlight the blessings over the past two years.
