‘Doc Rock.’ The 13th annual KAMA event is a benefit for local charities. It began in 2006, is a “battle of the bands” where at least one member of each band is a physician. Attendees vote for their favorite band, and proceeds are distributed to designated charities based on number of votes. Blackberry Farm Concert and Dinner

The Knoxville Symphony Society will hold an exclusive event at Blackberry Farm to benefit the education programs of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. The event features a cocktail reception, dinner, wine and music and special performance of the KSO conducted by Music Director Aram Demirjian. 5-9 p.m. $500 per person; tables of six or 10 available. Police Advisory and Review Committee

PARC Executive Director Clarence Vaughn and members of the committee will hold their quarterly meeting at 6 p.m. at Knox County Education Association, 2411 East Magnolia Ave. The meeting is open to the general public and citizens who have concerns about crime and safety in Knoxville. Representatives from the Knoxville Police Department will be in attendance. The meeting’s agenda will include committee business, speakers who have requested to address the committee, and an open forum (limited to three minutes per speaker). Snow Day

The 10th annual benefit for CAC Beardsley Community Farm will feature five performances by a diverse group of musicians, soup contest between some of Knoxville’s finest restaurants and a silent auction with donations by local artisans, businesses and organizations. Green & Gold Gala

The Tennessee Veterans Business Association will hold its 2018 Keynote Dinner & Reception in conjunction with the group’s TVBA Business Expo & Veteran Job Fair.
