Nashville Symphony Community Concerts
The Nashville Symphony begins its summer Community Concert series at 8 p.m. at East Park on Thursday, June 6, at 8 p.m. at Bicentennial Mall on June 7, and at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, Crockett Park, and Brentwood... The series continues throughout the summer at various locations.
Christian Scholars Conference
John Dean, former White House counsel for President Richard Nixon and key witness for the prosecution before the Senate Watergate Committee and the Watergate trials, will be one of three keynote speakers at the 33rd annual Thomas H. Olbricht Christian Scholars’ Conference (CSC), to be held June 6-8.
Dean will speak on “The Ethical Legacy of Watergate” at 10:45 a.m., Saturday, June 8, in Collins Alumni Auditorium. A book-signing will follow at 12:15 p.m.

Beer crafter’s book signing
Mt. Juliet Beer Company will host a book signing with award-winning Blackstone Brewing Company Brewmaster Dave Miller, 5-7 p.m. Miller will sign copies of Brew Like A Pro, his new how-to guide for home brewers. Mt. Juliet Beer Company is located at 11125 Lebanon Rd.

Bellevue Clean-Up Day (re-scheduled)
The spring edition of Bellevue’s Clean-Up Day is set for 8 a.m.-noon at Gower Elementary School (650 Old Hickory Blvd., just north of I-40 near Charlotte Pike). Bellevue residency must be confirmed through documents to participate. Workers and roll-off bins from Metro Public Works will be on hand to assist with large-item donations.
