Young Leaders Council’s Williamson County Application Deadline. YLC, a Nashville-based nonprofit organization that has trained 2,000 men and women to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofit agencies for the past 27 years, is expanding into Williamson County through a partnership with Williamson County Young Professionals. YLC will provide training to young professionals, ages 25-40 years, who are members of the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, in 11 weekly sessions, beginning February 5, 2013. The application deadline for young professionals interested in the 2013 inaugural class has been extended to December 21 and should be completed online at www.ylcnashville.org. The participation fee is $475.

Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are composed of Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce members with similar interests who meet to discuss trends, challenges, ideas and thoughts. Zoo Run Run
Runners and walkers will embark on a 5K course through Nashville Zoo’s 188-acre property past favorite habitats, like the African Savannah and Flamingo Lagoon, and on roads and trails not normally seen by the public.
