“As the third largest EO chapter in the world, it’s not a surprise to see so many of our members’ companies represented on the Inc. 500|5000 list—but it’s always a thrill,” said John Kepley, EO Nashville president and CEO of Teknetex. “This is a big win for Nashville, too, and it solidifies Music City’s prominence in the entrepreneurial world.”

Companies are ranked in the Inc. 500|5000 based on the percentage growth of their annual revenue over a three-year period, from 2012 through 2015. To qualify, businesses must be based in the United States, be privately held, independent, for-profit and not a subsidiary or division of another company. Revenues in 2012 must have been at least $100,000 and at least $2 million in 2015.
