Business Studio: Customer Valuation Workshop. This workshop is designed to help you accurately value your customers to use your marketing budget and resources more efficiently. The Chamber has partnered with Pryor Consultation to develop this workshop, which will be led by owner and lead marketing strategist Ryan Pryor, whose background is in online marketing, customer acquisition, lead generation and conversion rate optimization. TSU Town Hall Meeting

Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, president of Tennessee State University, will host a Town Hall meeting to present updated information and achievements from the University, as well as future plans and news-worthy items. The meeting is open to the community and will take at 6 p.m. in Kean Hall. This will be the fourth town hall meeting Glover has hosted since becoming president of the University on January 2, 2013. THURSDAY, APRIL 2

Mayoral Forum

The Tennessee Education Report and the Hillsboro PTSO will host a mayoral forum, 6:30 p.m. at Hillsboro High School. The forum will focus on the future of Nashville’s education and will include questions submitted by the Hillsboro High School Student Government.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4

Eggstravaganzoo

The spring festival at Nashville Zoo boasts the largest egg hunts in town. New this year is Twiga’s Sweet Stroll, a candy-themed wonderland with edible bubbles, photo opportunities and large-scale candy structures. 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Information: www.nashvillezoo.org.

Nashville Fashion Week

The week will kick off with the Nashville Designer Showcase at Acme Feed & Seed and end with the Second annual Fashion Forward Gala at The Rosewall. Several industry awards are being added to the Gala programming this year, including the “Fashion Retailer of the Year.” Proceeds from all Nashville Fashion Week events benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, an endowed fund established to support the next generation of fashion industry professionals with ties to Middle Tennessee by providing financial award and resources for experiential professional development opportunities. All-access passes are available at $300. Individual tickets are available in a range of prices. All tickets can be purchased at nashvillefashionweek.com. Schedule:

  • Wednesday: Accessories as Art Installation and cocktail party at The Cordelle
  • Thursday: Nashville Shops Day. Shop In-store events at boutiques throughout the city
  • Design + Fashion at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams featuring Herb Williams, curator at The Rymer Gallery, “Call of Couture” sculpture series.
  • Friday: Fall/Winter 2015 Ready-to-Wear runway show at Musica
  • Saturday: Fashion and Technology Industry Panels at City Winery; Nashville Fashion Forward Gala at The Rosewall; Closing-night party at The Citizen.

Davidson County Democratic Party Spring Breakfast and Fundraiser
