Oops. I goofed last year. So did lots of other people who thought Tennessee’s football team would win the SEC East Division and go to the league championship game for the first time since 2007. I predicted the Vols would go 10-2 in the regular season, 6-2 in the SEC, tie Georgia for the East Division title, go to the SEC Championship Game, lose to Alabama for a second time and go to the Orange Bowl.

At the 2015 SEC Media Days, Tennessee coach Butch Jones referred to his school as “the original Wide Receiver U.”

The reference goes back to the days when the Vols were loaded with fast, talented pass receivers on the perimeter. 70. House conservatives offer resolution to impeach IRS chief -

WASHINGTON (AP) — House conservatives on Tuesday formally introduced a long-shot, election-year resolution to impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.

Two lawmakers, backed by several of their colleagues, offered the measure under special procedures that put the House on track to vote Thursday on the effort. The drive has no chance of succeeding. Even if the House sends it to the Senate, which will be difficult, Democrats there have enough votes to prevent Republicans from removing Koskinen from office.

80. House weighs Puerto Rico bill as debt payment looms -

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House on Thursday weighed a rare bipartisan bill to help ease Puerto Rico's financial crisis and bring relief to the U.S. territory of 3.5 million Americans.

Republicans and Democrats debated the legislation that would create a financial control board and allow restructuring of some of Puerto Rico's $70 billion debt. The territory must make a $2 billion debt payment on July 1, in just over three weeks.

92. Ford workers narrowly approve new contract with UAW -

DETROIT (AP) — Ford workers narrowly approved a new four-year contract, wrapping up five months of negotiations between the United Auto Workers union and Detroit automakers.

The UAW said late Friday that Ford's contract passed with a 51.4-percent vote. The agreement covers 53,000 U.S. hourly workers at 22 plants.
