For those who have followed the Titans in their 20-plus years in Nashville now, you know what a thorn the Baltimore Ravens have been for this franchise.

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans are launching a series of youth football day camps that are set to take place next summer in various Tennessee locations.

The camps are planned for Memphis, Knoxville and the greater Nashville area throughout June and July. Expansion is planned into additional markets in the summer of 2018.

The clinic Sunday will be hosted by co-chairwomen Susie Adams Smith and Amy Adams Hunt, daughters of the team's late owner Bud Adams. Smith says she and her sister are proud to put on the event to help promote safe play at all levels.

There is still one game left on the Titans schedule, but since we are at the end of 2011 it’s not too early to go ahead and hand out team superlatives for this season.

As the Titans head into the New Year with at least some gasp of playoff life remaining, Mike Munchak’s first season as a head coach has to be deemed a success. Yes, there have been disappointments – losses to Jacksonville and Indianapolis, as well as coughing up a 10-point lead at home against Cincinnati.
