2. Loop hopes to go mainstream with reusable packaging -

Reusable packaging – from stainless steel ice cream containers to glass jars of soap – is about to become more common at groceries and restaurants worldwide.

Loop, a two-year-old company that collects and sanitizes reusable containers, said Wednesday it's expanding after successful trials at groceries in France and Japan. Kroger and Walgreens in the U.S., Tesco in the United Kingdom and Woolworths in Australia are among the chains partnering with Loop to sell household staples in reusable packages. McDonald's, Burger King and Tim Hortons have also signed on.

Edward H. L. Playfair has been appointed partner in charge of Adams and Reese’s Nashville office.

Playfair, who also serves as the firm’s Intellectual Property Team leader, serves clients’ intellectual property needs across the nation and around the world. NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have placed their top draft pick, offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, back on the COVID-Reserve list.

The Titans made the roster move Sunday. They also added running back Senorise Perry and cornerback Chris Milton to the 53-man roster, while placing safety Dane Cruikshank on injured reserve. Cruikshank will be eligible to return after the Titans' game Sept. 27 at Minnesota under the revised rules for this season.

8. Titans waive linebacker Cameron Wake, RB Dion Lewis -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have waived linebacker Cameron Wake after one season into what had been a three-year contract.

The Titans also announced Thursday they waived running back Dion Lewis, who still had two years left on the contract he signed in March 2018.

17. Titans have rule out LBs Wake and Finch for Sunday in Denver -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have ruled out a pair of linebackers with Cameron Wake and Sharif Finch both not playing Sunday in Denver.

The Titans scratched them on Friday.

Wake, 37, will miss his second straight game after hurting his right hamstring in the Titans' 24-10 win at Atlanta on Sept. 29. He has not practiced the past two weeks.
