2018 not a record-breaker but likely better than 2019 -
Friday, January 25, 2019
The Nashville area had 39,514 total real estate sales in 2018, 968 less than record-setting 2017, marking a 2.4 percent decrease, Greater Nashville Realtors figures show.
That also means 2006 has maintained its hold on second place and remains the only year other than 2017 to have surpassed the 40,000-sales mark. 2018 pulled in 486 sales short of the 40,000 mark and 532 less than the 2006 total.

A political junkie and incorrigible defender of truth, justice and the American way, I recalled that advice as I pulled my car to an anonymous curb in front of an indistinguishable building near the heart of an ever-evolving/devolving Nashville (depends on your opinion).
