2. Tennessee Supreme Court full case records now online -

NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennesseans can now search the full records of many state Supreme Court cases through an online database thanks to the Tennessee State Library and Archives.

The opinions have long been available electronically, but the associated case files were stored in more than 10,000 boxes in the attic of the Capitol building, according to a news release from the Administrative Office of the Courts. For more than a decade, Library and Archive staff has been cleaning and indexing these records. Today, around 85% of the collection is available online.

5. Tennessee appeals court upholds school voucher ruling -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld a ruling that declared the state's school voucher program unconstitutional.

Davidson County Chancery Court Judge Anne Martin had ruled against the law because it only applies to Memphis and Nashville. A three-member panel of the appellate court upheld that ruling, The Tennessean reported.

Davidson County had the most with 386, followed by Williamson (316), Sumner (21), Wilson (10) and Rutherford (2).
