Women’s Fund Virtual Luncheon. The event, now in its 10th year, will shift to a virtual format in 2021 instead of the planned in-person event for safety reasons. The luncheon will be presented by WATE and streamed on the television station’s app. Food, wine, dessert and the program can be picked up by appointment. The luncheon serves as a benefit for low-income women and girls across 25 counties in East Tennessee in the areas of education, life and work skills and showcases the impact of the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee. Jazz, Baby!

Friends of Tennessee’s Babies with Special Needs event includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, jazz music, on-site live auction, virtual silent auction and a wine pull. The nonprofit enhances the potential of infants and young children with disabilities by offering support to families and early intervention with professionals. 5:30-8 p.m. The Foundry on the Fair Site, 747 World’s Fair Park Drive, Knoxville. Jazz on the Square

The city of Knoxville presents free jazz concerts on Market Square, 7:30-9 p.m. The concert series showcases Knoxville’s stellar jazz community. Saxophonist Greg Tardy’s quartet will play on both nights. Attendees are invited to bring their own chairs and encouraged to practice COVID-19 safety measures including wearing face masks, physical distancing and the use of hand sanitizer. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on Market Square. They may be purchased and consumed on the premises of downtown businesses. Free parking is available after 6 p.m. in all city-owned parking garages, including Market Square, Locust Street, State Street garages, as well as in the non-City-owned Langley Garage. Information
